HDWD VOL/TREE 201 BF TIMBER SALE – 27.9 acres, Cornwall Road & Gela Road, Oak Hill Township, Granville Co., NC Acting as agent for A.J. Blackwell and wife Norma M. Blackwell, we solicit bids on the following timber recorded in Deed Book 853, Page 820 PIN #1906-49-9021:
• Area A - Lump-sum sale of mature timber on 5.3± acres. All merchantable timber, 4.8± acres (clear-cut area). All marked timber, 0.5± acres (SMZ area). In SMZ, cut only trees banded with BLUE paint. SMZ designated with Orange-glo flagging imprinted “Streamside Management Zone”. • Area B - Per-unit sale of 16+ year old loblolly pine plantation on 17.7± acres. Operator-select, 1st thinning. Logger to cut corridors approx 50' on center, then thin between corridors to 60-70 ft2 BA/acre, leaving the best trees.
Access to Area B is from Gela Road. • Area C - Per-unit sale of 24+ year old pine on 4.9± acres. 1st thinning. "Leave Trees" marked with ORANGE paint. Harvest all un-marked trees.
